FAQs - Sky Q&A
Can I watch channels from my main Sky box on a television in the kitchen & will I also be able to use it to watch digital freeview channels?

The answer to your questions are yes & yes. A standard aerial signal needs to be provided into your Sky box, followed by a good quality coxail cable link from the RF2 output on the Sky box to the television in the kitchen, where if you wish you could also install a small magic eye to control the main sky box. At this point some simple settings need to be entered on the main Sky box as well as tuning  the kitchen television, this will give you the ability to watch freeview or the main Skybox channel with remote control facilities.

I have been told by Sky that they are not willing to run the cable for my installation via my loft , can BUrytec help?

Yes Burytec are able to provide a discreet cabling service, inclusive of difficult loft access, along / inside roof-line fittings & behind down pipes

I have just received a letter from Sky stating that one or more of my Sky boxes are currently not connected to the telephone line & that I will be charged full price for each box, help?

Currently Sky offer a reduced price for additional Sky boxes in the same household, provided that you are willing to have the additional boxes permanently connected to your telephone line. In the event that this connection is stopped it is possible that Sky will want to charge you the full price for each box.

Burytec are able to visit you & check which boxes have a live connection to your telephone line. Burytec are also able to provide / renew / repair any connections that are not currently working.
