Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs - Digital freeview Q&A
I have seven televisions in my house all with Freeview boxes. Will one digital aerial be enough to handle all of these?
Yes, one aerial is enough to supply a number of digital television sets, set top boxes decoders, PVR's, computer etc with out signal break up problems. for the best results you will generally need to feed the signal from your correctly installed aerial, to a powered distribution amplifier. The amplifier is best located as close to the aerial as possible or in the loft if this is not possible. In the event that the amplifier needs to be mounted in the loft & you do not have a mains voltage supply, it is possible to supply the power via one of the outputs of a special amplifier with a DC power supply unit located in one of the rooms in your property. |
