INTERNAL WIRING FAULTS

As a general rule the wiring that is on the streets or underground is of very high quality wire, therefore, the voice or data signal is almost always at full strength.

Unfortunately, if you have bad wiring inside of your property , wiring routed near fluorescent lights, near sources of high amounts of electromagnetic radiation (such as electric wires), or just bad quality wiring), you will lose some of the strength of the signal, thus decreasing your overall line quality.

Some common faults would include short circuits, open circuit, intermittent connections, ground fault, leg A & B reversal, all of which could originate from the customer side or service provider side.
